Laboratories

Learning Beyond the Books

At Sai Meer College of Pharmacy, laboratories are not just rooms — they are learning arenas where theory meets practice. Our college hosts fully equipped, PCI-compliant laboratories designed to provide students with hands-on experience that aligns with the latest industry practices and pharmacy education standards.

Well-Equipped Labs Include:

Focused on dosage form design, tablet compression, ointment preparation, and powder formulation. Students learn the science of converting raw drugs into effective medicines.
Used for drug synthesis, salt formation, titration, identification tests, and chemical analysis of drugs and raw materials.
Includes instruments like digital organ baths, actophotometers, rotarod, and software-based simulations to study drug effects on biological systems.

Supports the study of herbal and natural drugs through microscopic evaluation, extraction processes, TLC techniques, and crude drug analysis.

Equipped with anatomical models, preserved specimens, and physiological testing kits to help students understand the structure and function of the human body.
Facilitates routine diagnostic experiments such as blood sugar testing, urine analysis, and protein detection, simulating real clinical environments.
All labs are maintained as per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) guidelines, with fire safety systems, lab coats, fume chambers, and first-aid kits to ensure a safe learning experience.
