Admission Process
At Sai Meer College of Pharmacy, admissions are conducted strictly as per norms laid down by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Board of Technical Education (BTE), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). We follow a transparent and merit-based selection procedure for all programs.
For Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy)
Eligibility: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry + Mathematics/Biology.
Entrance Exam: Admissions primarily through JEECUP (UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam).
Counseling: Students are allotted seats via state-level counseling conducted by JEECUP.
Direct Admission (Management Quota): Limited seats available as per BTE/PCI norms. Admission is based on merit and document verification.
For Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy)
Eligibility: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry + Mathematics/Biology.
Entrance Exam: Admission is primarily through UPCET (conducted by NTA for AKTU).
Counseling: Centralized counseling by AKTU for seat allotment.
Lateral Entry: D.Pharmacy holders (from PCI-approved institutes) can apply for direct admission into 2nd year.
Management Quota: Admission is offered based on 10+2 merit and subject to availability of seats as per university guidelines.
For Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharmacy)
Eligibility: B.Pharm degree from a PCI-approved institute with minimum 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST).
Entrance Exam: Admission is primarily through GPAT (National level) or CUET-PG (State/University level).
Counseling: Centralized online counseling via UPTAC (for AKTU-affiliated colleges).
- Management Quota: Direct admission in private colleges based on B.Pharm merit, provided the candidate meets PCI eligibility.
